SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS
Субституты
Товары или услуги, которые покупатели рассматривают как взаимозаменяемые. Например, если увеличение цены на кофе приводит к тому, что потребители начинают отказываться от кофе в пользу чая, то эти два продукта можно считать продуктами-заместителями. Показателем степени взаимозаменяемости двух продуктов служит перекрестная эластичность спроса (см. Cross-elasticity of demand): высокая эластичность характерна для близких субститутов, а низкая свидетельствует об их слабой взаимозаменяемости. Ср.: Complementary products.
